Fresh from her music production class in L.A., Claudia Barretto renewed her contract with Universal Records for which she will be releasing new music for her fans.

Two months after dropping her self-titled four-track EP, Claudia Barretto is now ready to write songs of her own especially now that she returned fully equipped with the basics in music production.

"From last time, I think that we've established that during my partnership with [Universal Records], we were able to complete an EP. Now, for this year, I think I'm focusing on doing music that is more personal to me and relate to more. And I'm writing most of my songs for this next project that I'm gonna be working on so I'm excited for. Just a more authentic approach to my music," she stated.

Having collaborated with Marteen - an American RnB singer who previously opened shows for other foreign artists such as Kehlani, Bryson Tiller, Fifth Harmony, and Dua Lipa - for the remix of her track "Finally Found It," Claudia hinted that she has another collaboration with an international artist coming up.

"I actually collaborated with Marteen who is an RnB singer from the States. I also collaborated with friends from L.A. because I spent this summer in L.A. learning how to do music production. So I collaborated with friends back there. And I took it back home with me. I'm gonna re-record and release it as a single," she said.
