How Ahron Villena and Kakai Bautista reconciled

On the Wednesday episode of Magandang Buhay, Kakai Bautista and Ahron Villena shared how they reconciled after almost a year of misunderstanding.

Kakai said it was Ahron who initiated the reconciliation. “Kasi nga nung time na ‘yun hindi kami nag-uusap. Sabi ko nga sa press con (ng Harry and Patty), nag reach-out naman siya ng tatlong beses. Kasi akala ng mga tao, ako ‘yung excited lagi,” she said.

The Dental Diva also pointed out that Ahron even contacted her manager just to meet and talk to her. “Umeffort naman siya. Ginagamit pa nga niya yung manager namin para lang magkita kami at mag-usap, through text. Siguro tatlong beses, (tapos) nung pang-fourth na, ‘yun na ‘yung nagkita kami sa Tagaytay, nagkayayaan lang… Tapos biglang nandoon din siya. Tapos wala na, nag-yakap na lang kami.” Kakai shared.

According to them, the movie Harry and Patty was offered two months after their Tagaytay moment.

Host Melai Cantiveros, being a close friend to both of them, opened up about mediating between their fights. “Ako as a friend nila, alam mo nakakabingi rin kasi ‘tong dalawa eh. ‘Yung sumbong nila sa isa’t-isa, nakakabingi na. Siguro napagod na rin ‘yung mga friends nila sa kakapakinig, sila na rin (mismo) nag-reach out sa isa’t isa,” Melai said.

Cineko Films’ Harry and Patty: A Beginning of A Not-So-Beautiful Story will be showing this August 1 starring Kakai Bautista and Ahron Villena, together with Mark Neumann, Heaven Peralejo and Joe Vargas. It is directed by Julius Ruslin Alfonso.
