Joshua Garcia used to survive on a 10-peso daily allowance during his first years in high school.

Speaking on Tonight with Boy Abunda, the Ngayon at Kailanman lead actor narrated how he would never spend a cent of his ‘baon’ so that he could give his then high school girlfriend a gift.

The actor also shared how happy he is now because he can now take Ngayon at Kailanman co-star Julia Barretto on a proper date.

His successful acting career also brought Joshua things that he once dreamed of as a teen including a computer, a cellphone, and a car.
