Angel Locsin revealed that she almost resigned from ABS-CBN because she thought that she could no longer deliver as an actress.

Ayaw ko na no’n eh. As in nagre-resign na ako. Nahiya ako kasi I’m paid eh, parang ganon, kaya akala ko iyon ‘yung proper way kung paano mo i-deal ‘yun,” she said.

According to the actress, what made her decide to stay was the support and encouragement she received from her co-workers in the television network. “Kapag nagtrabaho kayo di ba ang sarap ng may boss [who] cares for you at tsaka makita ‘yung ka-workmate mo na very positive lang, ganon so wala kang time na mag-wallow sa woes mo, sa problema mo sa mundo, so move on ka na,” she stated.

Angel will be back on primetime television this month after five years with her new series The General’s Daughter. The actress remarked that it is such a joy to work in her new series. “Nag-jive kami – mga artista, director, staff. Lahat game, lahat passionate, lahat maloko, so naramdaman mo talaga we are a team so kapag ‘yun ang comeback mo, very comforting di ba, na ito ‘yung mga taong ipaglalaban mo, na mas maiinspire ka na mag-trabaho ng husto, na ibigay ‘yung todo mo,” she stated.

Does she feel scared?
