A third installment for the internationally acclaimed comedy film Ang Babae sa Septic Tank is now shooting, filmmaker Joey Javier Reyes confirmed on Instagram last Monday.

ANG BABAE SA SEPTIC TANK 3: The Real Untold Story of Josephine Bracken – NOW FILMING! #behappy,” announced the director, along with a group photo with several members of the cast and crew.

Among them were Tony Labrusca, Nico Antonio, and the movie’s main star, Eugene Domingo. Beside her was an actor dressed as the Philippine national hero, Jose Rizal.

Ang Babae Sa Septic Tank debuted in 2011 under the lead of director Marlon Rivera and writer-producer Chris Martinez. It then starred JM de Guzman, Kian Cipriano, and Cai Cortez. The film revolved around three aspiring filmmakers’ intent to create a movie that will earn them international recognition and accolades.
