nagpupunta dito sa Amanpulo lalo na kapag Valentine&#x27;s Day, Holy Week o kaya may nag-birthday, lalo na kapag birthday ko o anniversary namin ni Paul. Hindi sa hindi ko kayang pumunta dito or busy ako. Pero hindi ako nakakapunta dati dito noon nong mag-boyfriend and girlfriend pa lang kami ni Paul kasi hindi ako pinapayagan. Alam niyo na kung sino &#x27;yung hindi pumapayag (referring to her parents),&quot; Toni confessed.</p><p>According to the actress, every time she asked for permission from her parents Bonoy and Pinty to go on an overnight vacation with Paul when they were still not married, they would immediately disapprove it.</p><p>Toni shared, &quot;[Sabi ni mommy Pinty], &#x27;Ano gagawin niyo don magho-honeymoon?,&#x27; &#x27;Yun agad ang assumption niya. &#x27;Pag nag-overnight daw kami mag ho-honeymoon kami.  So &#x27;yung mommy ko ang response niya comedy pero ang daddy ko ito naman ang OA sa lahat ng mga OA. ‘Pag nagpaalam ka ng overnight, [sasabihin niya], ‘Alam mo Celestine malaki ka na, kaya mo gawin lahat ng gusto mo. Gawin mo ‘yan pero ito lang ang masasabi ko sa’yo. Oras na ginawa mo ‘yan tapos na ang pagiging ama ko sa’yo. Hinding-hindi ko na kakausapin si Paul kahit kailan at wala ka na rin ama. Dahil ibig sabihin noon hindi mo na ako sinusunod. Gusto mo na ikaw ang masusunod sa buhay mo. Hindi ka na sumusunod sa amin magulang mo.’”</p><p>She said that because of her parents’ warnings, she never attempted to go on a vacation with Paul. “In short hindi ko na tinuloy ‘yung ganong plano. Kasi makaluma sila. Gusto nila ‘pag raw mago-overnight kailangan kasal na so noong  buong mag-boyfriend and mag-girlfriend kami ni Paul, never naming na-experience itong ganito,” she stated.</p><p>Toni then went on appreciating Paul for being very understanding that time. “Nakakabilib din naman si Paul, kasi for eight years, never niyang sinabi sa akin na, ‘Mag-rebelde ka na, gawin mo na ‘yung gusto mo, may pera ka na.’ He always tells me lang na, ‘What can we do? That’s the rule of your parents. We just have to listen and obey them’,” she said.</p><p>Looking back, Toni said that she realized how important it is to be patient and wait for God’s perfect time.</p><blockquote
