To promote their hit television series You, Hollywood stars Shay Mitchell and Penn Badgley are coming to Manila for the first time this January.

You is a psychological thriller and crime drama currently streaming on Netflix, after it was acquired from Lifetime channel in December last year. The show premiered on the platform later on the 26th , and awaits a second season as a Netflix Original now.

In the story, Penn plays the character of Joe Goldberg, a bookstore manager who fell in love with one of his customers, Guinevere Beck (played by Elizabeth Lail), and soon finds himself obsessing over her. Surprisingly, their relationship turned out well – at first. Just as Guinevere began to reciprocate his feelings, she learns that Joe is not the man she expects him to be, and worse.

Meanwhile, Shay Mitchell, who in real life happens to be a half-Filipina, plays the role of Guinevere’s rich best friend, Peach Salinger.

Fans can catch Penn and Shay on January 15 at 6 PM at The Greenbelt Gallery, 2nd level, in Greenbelt 5, as part of their Philippine tour.
