Former f(x) member Sulli dead at 25

Sulli, a former member of the South Korean girl group f(x) was found dead at a residence located at a province south of Seoul, South Korea.

According to a report by South Korean news outlet Yohan News Agency, her agent found her dead at 3:21PM (KST) at a two-storey house in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province.

Police confirmed in a statement that the South Korean idol commited suicide.

Having debuted as part of the SM Entertainment girl group f(x) in 2009, she eventually left the group following several online controversies.

In 2017, Sulli played a role in the film Real alongside Kim Soo-hyun.

Her last single, "Dayfly," was a collaboration with South Korean RnB artists Dean and Rad Museum. She also recently made a cameo in the concluded hit TV series Hotel De Luna.

Sulli's talent management agency, SM Entertainment, has officially released a statement on her passing.

"This is SM Entertainment. We are sorry to tell everyone the sorrowful and sad news. Sulli has left us. We cannot believe the situation, and we are simply in a state of grief. Please refrain from spreading speculative articles or rumors in respect of the bereaved’s family who are saddened by the sudden tragedy. We express our deepest condolences to the deceased, who went on their final path," SM said in a statement published on news portal Naver.

UPDATE: According to news reports Sulli Confirmed To Have Committed Suicide, police said that Sulli committed suicide.
