Charlene Gonzales revealed that she underwent an appendectomy or the surgical removal of her appendix. According to the actress-host, the doctor found out that she had appendicitis after she visited the hospital for consultation because of the pain she felt in her hip.

She shared, "I went in for a check up for pain in the right hip area. My blood tests were normal but my CT Scan showed otherwise. I had appendicitis and needed immediate surgery the same day to remove my appendix to prevent rupture."

Thank you St. Luke’s Q.C. Hospital under the care of our family doctor internist, Dra. Ubungen. I went in for a check up for pain in the right lower abdomen, hip area. Charlene extended her gratitude to the medical team who performed the procedure and took care of her in the hospital.

She also thanked her family for accompanying her at the hospital. She also regretted not being able to watch Aga Muhlach's latest movie Nuuk but said that she would be watching it soon.
