Gal Gadot will be back on the silver screen for the much anticipated sequel to the Wonder Woman movie. Warner Bros. released on December 8 the official trailer for Wonder Woman 1984, featuring Gal as she returns for the title role, displaying full power and strength.

Directed by Patty Jenkins, Wonder Woman 1984 tells the story of the superheroine as she faces new villains Max Lord and The Cheetah. Chris Pines is also back as Capt. Steve Trevor for the film. The new trailer also shared a sneak peek of the the new armor of Wonder Woman.

The trailer debuted at the Comic-Con Experience CCXP 2019 in São Paulo, Brazil, which Gal and Patti attended.

The first Wonder Woman movie shattered records in 2017, with a gross earning of $821 million globally.

Wonder Woman 1984 will be released on June 5, 2020.
