Marco Gumabao stars in the Valentine’s day digital film 'Apple of My Eye'

<p>This coming Valentine’s Day is special for Marco Gumabao because it is the launch of his first romantic film online <em>Apple of My Eye </em>under Dreamscape Digital. He plays the role of app developer Michael, who unexpectedly falls for old school girl Apple (played by Krystal Reyes). </p><p>“You have to watch <em>Apple of My Eye</em> because kung gusto niyo ng feel good movie and team bahay lang kayo for Valentine’s, this is the perfect movie to watch. It’s a really nice movie. created by Bela Padilla who is also the film’s co-producer. She personally handpicked Marco and co-star Krystal for their roles. </p><p>“Si Bela first time ko siya makasama sa work but she’s been my friend since before but si Krystal first time ko makakatrabaho. Bela wrote this so hindi namin siya medyo nakakasama sa set but she called me before to do the project. She called me one night and she wanted me to do it. Ang alam ko nauna siyang piliin ni Bela, si Krystal. I think friends sila before in GMA. </p><p>&quot;<em>Masaya siya kasama sa</em> set. <em>Nung una medyo nahihiya</em> so I helped her also <em>para hiindi siya masyado mahiya</em> or <em>mailang</em>. It was really fun. We actually shot for only seven days. So<em> medyo mabilis siya</em> for a movie and it was fun because yung cast and crew very easy to work with and it was very light on the set. Even though <em>maikli lang yung panahon na nagsama kami</em>, it was fun. It was very memorable also. <em>Hindi mo ma-fi-feel na nagtratrabaho kami </em>because <em>masaya yung mga kasama mo</em>,” he revealed.</p><p> Even though his film will only be available for streaming online, Marco is very proud of the quality of work that went into doing<em> Apple of My Eye</em>. </p><p>“Actually they treated it also as a movie because<em> yung mga camera na gamit naming, yung mga</em> shots<em> ni direk</em>, <em>pang-mainstream </em>movie<em> na talaga siy</em>a.<em> Ang</em> iWant,<em> ang alam kong gusto rin nilang </em>quality<em> pang-movie talaga na puwede mong itapat sa mga</em> Hollywood films or <em>sa mga </em>shows <em>na ganyan</em>. So with the quality, you will know or <em>makakasigurado ka talaga na maganda talaga siya</em>, <em>na hindi lang siya ginawa na basta basta lang</em>,” he explained.</p><p>Watch <em>Apple of My
