Nadine Lustre to play a Cebuana island girl in dance musical 'Indak'

Nadine Lustre is set to star in a dance musical titled Indak, shot on Bantayan Island in Cebu. In a report by Cebu Daily News Digital, the actress will be portraying a popular Cebuana island girl whose dance videos have gone viral.

"She plays a kind of role that I really believe is a career-defining one for her. Viewers and fans can look forward to a lot of dancing, and not just any dancing, but the really blow-your-mind kind,” Janice Y. Perez, the film's local coordinator on Bantayan Island told Cebu Daily News Digital.

According to the report, Nadine has to learn the Cebuano language for the role and a coach has been teaching her.

Indak tells the story of a dance group that will represent the Philippines for the world championship in Seoul, South Korea. It also stars Sam Concepcion, and Yayo Aguila, among others.
