Gabby Concepcion’s brother on lawsuit against actor: ‘For my mom and my other siblings’

Miguel Concepcion, the younger brother of Gabby Concepcion, said on Friday that he is pursuing his lawsuit against the seasoned actor in behalf of their mother and other siblings.Last March, Miguel filed a complaint against Gabby for falsification of public documents after allegedly having sold their mother&#x27;s property in San Juan without the presence nor the authorization of Mrs. Maria Lourdes Concepcion, who was then in the United States.<div><a href="https://push.abs-cbn.com/2019/3/14/fresh-scoops/gabby-concepcion-sued-by-younger-brother-for-alleg-204364">READ: Gabby Concepcion sued by younger brother for alleged fraudulent sale of mother’s land</a></div>&quot;Kung nakipag-usap lang siya sakin sa umpisa, then we wouldn&#x27;t even be here. But that’s how it is, I’m just trying to put everything back together. I’m doing this for my mom and my other siblings,&quot; he said in an exclusive interview with Radyo DZMM.Miguel&#x27;s lawyer, Atty. Tyrone Cimafranca, argued that their mother couldn&#x27;t have transferred a portion of the property to Gabby and two other siblings without appearing before the notary public, as per the notarial law.&quot;If you look at the document itself there are a lot of things that would raise questions. In fact the document as we discovered it did not contain signatures of witnesses. It&#x27;s just the mother, even the supposed buyers’ signatures are not present,&quot; he told.According to Miguel, though their mother is &quot;sad&quot; and &quot;hesitant&quot; about the lawsuit, he is determined to go after Gabby for their family&#x27;s sake.&quot;I’m doing this for her and for my siblings because she’s still alive, she’s 79 years old and she has to enjoy what she has, what she inherited from her parents,&quot; he said.&quot;I have very little to say about how we can proceed pero ang gusto ko lang talaga is maibalik lang, maayos lang. Baka kasi nakakalimutan niya, we’re a big family, we’re a family of six and hindi lang siya yung anak ng mga magulang ko. Baka nakalimutan lang niya he has to share whatever is ours,&quot; he added.

'Kung nakipag-usap lang siya sa 'kin sa umpisa, then we wouldn't even be here. But that’s how it is, I’m just trying to put everything back together,' Miguel Concepcion told Radyo DZMM on Friday.
