Donny Pangilinan posted a cryptic tweet days after Kisses Delavin announced that her team-up with the young actor “has long been over.”

“I’m trying my best. Ang hirap din minsan. Hindi po kami robot,” the 21-year-old actor wrote.

While Donny didn’t drop any names, fans assumed that the young actor was referring to his former onscreen partner Kisses.

The tweet, which has already garnered over 52,000 likes and 14,000 retweets as of this writing, drew mixed reactions from his supporters.

Reassuring concerned fans that he is doing fine, he explained that he said what he had to say “to acknowledge how I felt.”

“Just needed to acknowledge how I felt. My best and our best is never gonna [be] enough if not for Him. I’m okay guys, love you,” he wrote.

Meanwhile, in an Instagram post, Donny Pangilinan admitted Kisses’ statement caught him by surprise.

“I’ll be honest it was a surprise. To my understanding, the partnership was still under review because of different expectations, with no final decision yet,” he said.

“But let’s please respect her statement. I sincerely wish Kisses and her family the best. Let’s not fault find. Let’s all support each other at this time,” he stated.

Expressing his gratitude towards all the fans who supported him and Kisses since day one, he concluded his statement by saying, “DonKiss, we will forever be grateful for you all, love you guys. God bless good night.”
