Earlier this month, Tommy Esguerra finally found the opportunity to meet his celebrity crush Urassaya Sperbund who was in town for a Tourism Authority of Thailand event. “It’s kind of hard not to see her. She’s kind of popping up everywhere on Instagram. I found out she was coming and I had to see her (laughs). I’m not going to lie. I got a little bit of a crush on her. She is very beautiful and she’s very sweet,” he told PUSH.The model-actor got a short photo op with the Thai artist before she took the stage as a global ambassador for her country’s tourism office. “I was actually speechless. She looks a little bit like Megan Young and Catriona Gray. It’s like a mix between them. She’s so pretty. I’ve never met her before. And all I said was, ‘Hello, it’s nice to meet you!’” he recalled.After fellow model Kelley Day announced their breakup three months ago, Tommy said he has decided to focus on being single and happy right now. “At heart, I love relationships. But I realized a lot of things. One of them is that I maybe don’t have time for a relationship. It’s just not for me right now, you know. I need to learn how to love myself before I can love others because if I don’t love myself but I love someone else, it’s going to fail. So that’s something I got to work on,” he said.Tommy admitted that the end of his two-year relationship with Kelley was a major turning point for him this year. “It was the hardest breakup of my life but it was also the best breakup because it made me see what I was looking for. I’m still working on it,” he added.
