Daniela Mondragon and Romina Mondragon spotted riding a tricycle

Dimples Romana and Beauty Gonzalez, who play Daniela Mondragon and Romina Mondragon in the hit Kapamilya Gold series Kadenang Ginto, gamely turned one of their viral memes into reality.

Spotted by a fan named Romeo Bryan Riel at a street around Quezon City, Daniela Mondragon can be seen sitting on the driver's seat of a tricycle while Romina sat behind her.

Both actresses wore their famous red and gold dresses, respectively.

In less than 12 hours, the post has already garnered more than 42,000 reactions and 58,000 shares on Facebook alone.

Meanwhile, in a Magandang Buhay interview, Dimples Romana and Beauty Gonzalez revealed they didn't expect their characters on the show would become a hit.

“At saka alam mo hindi ko in-expect na si Daniela ay kayang mahalin ng marami. Hindi ko in-expect. Kasi iniisip ko kontrabida ako rito, ready ako. Alam ko na maba-bash ako rito, ready ako. Niyakap ko talaga si Daniela nang buong-buo dahil iniisip ko ito ang posisyon ko sa karakter ko, ito ang maitutulong ko sa show, gagawin ko ito. Pero ngayon with everything that I'm seeing, kaya pala niya ang magpasaya. ‘Yung kahit gaano kasama 'yung nakikita mo sa panlabas kapag kinakailangan magbigay ng tulong gagawin and that is alive in the show,” Dimples Romana said.

Gonzalez, on her part, thanked Dimples for bringing out the best in her because of the former's praiseworthy portrayal of Daniela Mondragon in the top-rating Kapamilya show.

"May I just grab this opportunity to thank you talaga. Kasi I wouldn't be Romina right now if weren't for you. Kasi sa totoo lang you need to have a really bad antagonist to have a good protagonist. Totoo. Thank you talaga. Kasi hindi naman ako gagaling as Romina kung hindi niya ako sinusundutan ng bongga. So thank you," Gonzalez stated.

Kadenang Ginto is set to mark its Book 3 with Richard Yap entering as one of its newest characters to watch out for in the show.
