Internal investigation on Eddie Garcia’s accident now completed, says network

GMA Network confirmed that it has finished the internal investigation concerning the unfortunate incident that resulted to the ultimate death of late veteran actor Eddie Garcia.

“GMA Network has completed its internal investigation on the accident involving the late Mr. Eddie Garcia,” they said in an official statement released on Tuesday.

“[However], the family wishes to be given a copy before we share the report with the public,” they added.

On June 8, the former “Ang Probinsyano” star figured in an accident during the shooting of a television series he was starring in. Initial reports stated that he suffered from a heart attack. However, the family has since clarified that Eddie tripped on a wire and sustained a neck injury before eventually slipping into a coma.

He died almost two weeks later.
