Following speculations about the real reason behind her broken nose, Moira Dela Torre has finally spoken up to clarify the issue once and for all.

During the presscon for her upcoming concert Braver, Moira revealed to the entertainment press that she is now in the process of recovering from the incident.

“I’m still recovering. There’s still a lot of things [to be done], but I’m 85 percent well.,” she said.

While she did not go into specific details, the muti-awarded artist revealed that her nose went on necrosis or the process where cells and tissues die following a non-invasive procedure.

“Well, basically, may nagkamali. And my nose went on necrosis. And it was a very simple procedure. It’s non-invasive. But it went wrong. Hindi po siya naagapan agad because we had no idea what was happening. I was at high risk of being blind, of aneurysm, of heart attack, and stroke,” she stated.

The "Malaya" singer also shared that she went on house arrest for three months due to the said incident.

“And for three months, I was at home recovering ‘cause I was on house arrest. But I’m better now. God is Good. I’m 85% healed but I’m 100% healed internally. I feel like this whole season made me so much better,” she said.

While the situation caused her damage, Moira said she will no longer file a case against the medical practitioner and added that she has already forgiven the person.

“Ayoko po. Naaawa po ako eh. Napatawad ko na rin naman po and I know that that person didn’t mean to do that. I’ve forgiven that person. That person helped me fix everything,” she stated.

The singer also shared the reaction of her husband after finding out what had happen to her.

“Siyempre he was super calm, but I know that he was super scared inside. Kasi bagong kasal kami and that was like what a month after our wedding. Or two months after our wedding. The whole time he was at the hospital with me. So was my handler Mac Merla,” she said.

Despite everything that happened to her, Moira remains thankful for helping her become even more resilient as an individual.

“It was a really tough season kasi andami kong nawalang trabaho. Feeling ko dahil nasa gitna ng mukha ko ‘yun tapos andami pang sakit na sobrang high risk ako. It wasn’t just my career that I was gonna lose. It was my life or my eyesight like I wouldn’t be able to see my husband,” she said.

She then went on: “And so there’s so much fear that was building up. But at the same time, in that season, I feel like I became fearless after. I’m very grateful. I’m at the point na nagpapasalamat pa rin ako sa Panginoon na nangyari ‘yun kasi hindi ako magiging ganito katatag kung hindi siya nangyari.”

Asked to give a message to everyone who are currently experiencing what she had experienced, she said: “It gets better. It gets so much better. It’s so hard to be in that position and I know how much anxiety it can bring ‘pag nandun ka. And alam ko po na mas maraming tao na mas malala pa ang napagdaanan kesa sa akin. But I just wanna say I’m proud of you whoever you are. So proud for keeping yourselves strong and grounded and I know God has amazing plans. And I know that it will get better.”

According to the Idol PH judge, she no longer cares whether or not her nose gets fixed because she believes that the reason why her fans are still with her is because of her music.

“Kung hindi siya maayos, okay lang. I feel like I’ve come to that point where I’m very secured about myself whether I’m fat or thin, whether my face is at its best or not. I know that I’m here because of my songs. And I will continue because of my songs,” she said.

Meanwhile, Moira’s concert “Braver” is happening on September 13 at the Araneta Coliseum.
