Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan previously shared through interviews that it would be difficult for him to let go of his daughter Frankie Pangilinan, who is slowly turning into an independent lady.

After Frankie moved to New York, the senator took to Facebook to express his feelings and said he felt heartbroken with Frankie going abroad to study.

“I haven't posted nor have I written anything about my daughter leaving home to study abroad... too painful to describe,” he wrote.

"Frankie moved to the Big Apple to study college in The New School, a university in New York."

KC Concepcion comforted him through her comment.

“It’s okay, you’ve let go of me, you can do it again,” she wrote.

This isn’t the first time Kiko and wife Sharon Cuneta had to go through some major adjustments. KC, who has Kiko as a father figure, also went to Paris to study for college.
