After parting ways with Boyband PH member Joao Constancia after two years of dating, Sue Ramirez clarified that their breakup was not because Joao did not approve of her doing intimate scenes with Cuddle Weather leading man RK Bagatsing. “Hindi talaga. Hindi yun ang issue. Work is not the issue. Marami kaming differences,” she shared during the Cuddle Weather presscon held last August 22 in Quezon City.

The 23-year-old actress said she has no regrets after playing sex worker Adela Johnson in her new movie which is part of this year’s Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino film festival which opens on September 13. “Hindi ako at all nag-hestitate na gawin ito. Nung nabasa ko na yung script, kailangan kasi talagang pagkatiwalaan mo yung mga tao na makakatrabaho mo and hindi ako nahirapan na gawin yun dahil they really made it a safe working environment for me and for RK. So we really didn’t have any hesitations in doing the film. Ako naman go, go, go ako. Wala naman akong malisya sa katawan. May takip naman yun,” she explained.

During the presscon, Sue said that she relates to her character when it comes to learning about love. “Pareho nga kami ni Adela na mga natutunan. Pero change topic na tayo hindi ko kayang magsinungaling sa inyo,” she said. Not wanting to get more emotional about her recent break up, Sue shared she is not looking for a relationship anytime soon. “Yinayakap ko (na lang) yung mga aso ko (laughs). Mahirap na sumugod agad sa mga ganyang bagay ulit. Ayoko magpahintay. Depende sa kanya yun,” she added.

When asked if she had any thoughts about what would happen if Joao starts seeing other people, Sue admitted, “Wala na akong sagot dun. Depende na yun sa kanya.”
