I think it became good timing, not only for the show, but the state of the company ngayon.&quot;</p><p>These were the words of Riza Ebriega, head of the ABS-CBN business unit RGE Drama, as Bagong Umaga is finally set to premiere on Monday, October 26.</p><p>Despite the challenges brought by the pandemic and the franchise crisis of the network, Riza remarked that they have been receiving great support from the management. The show started shooting in February but had to be delayed because of the pandemic. They resumed shooting in October. </p><p>On the changes that happened in the casting, Riza remarked, “We are supported very much by management, <em>kung anuman ‘yung pinagdadaanan ng bawat</em> show. Every time, there is always a management call. We have to move forward,&quot; Riza stated in an interview during the media conference of the upcoming drama. </p><p>When asked about the departure of Julia Barretto from the show, Riza replied, &quot;We’re focused on producing the right project. We have to refocus.
