Nancy McDonie of MOMOLAND undergoes COVID-19 testing and self-quarantine

Nancy McDonie of MOMOLAND has undergone COVID-19 testing and has entered into self-quarantine according to MLD Entertainment.

In a report by Star Daily News as translated by Soompi, MLD Entertainment said in a statement: "MOMOLAND’s Nancy voluntarily underwent testing for COVID-19 after her path overlapped with someone who tested positive for the virus."

With what happened, the agency said that Nancy has to follow the health protocols of the government.

"Therefore, she will be following the government’s guidelines and going into self-quarantine until further instruction is given by health authorities," the agency said.

As she has undergone self-quarantine, Nancy did not appear in the November 28 broadcast of MBC’s Music Core. She will also not participate in other scheduled activities.

"We will give an update as soon as we get the test results. We apologize for causing concern to many people. Thank you," the agency added.

Nancy is a Korean-American singer who became part of MOMOLAND in November 2016 through Mnet's reality television show Finding Momoland.

MOMOLAND recently released their latest single "Ready or Not" on November 17.

The music video for "Ready or Not" has already gained more than 15 million views as of this writing.
