Even British music legend Sir Paul McCartney is a fan of South Korean group BTS.

The former Beatle was all praises for the group when he appeared on the latest podcast of Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes, and Will Arnett, tdubbed "SmartLess."

At one point, Sir Paul was asked whether there were any pop acts today that he listens to and that has "that true artistry” that The Beatles also had back in the day.

“For me, it’s not really because of the music like it is for the fans, but for me, it’s [about] just seeing some young kids go through what we went through. BTS — Korean guys. I like watching them and seeing what’s going on. I think they’re good," he said.

“I couldn’t sing one of their songs, but I like them," he added.

Earlier this year, BTS became the first group since The Beatles to top the Billboard 200 with four different albums within just two years.

In 2019, the group paid tribute to the legendary British band in their guest performance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

BTS — composed of members RM, Jin, Suga, J-hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook — debuted in 2013 under Big Hit Entertainment and has since become one of the major players in the K-pop industry.

They are known for their hits "Boy With Luv," "Dionysus," "On," and "Fake Love."

Recently, BTS made history as the first Korean act to snag a Grammy nomination.

Their hit single, "Dynamite," was nominated for best pop duo/group performance at the 63rd annual Grammy Awards.

"Dynamite," which is part of the group's newest album "BE," achieved commercial success and broke several records after it premiered last August.

Notably, it saw the seven-piece act become the first international and Korean band to debut at Number One on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
