UPSTREAM PH on Monday, December 7, unveiled the official trailer of the family-drama movie Coming Home, which is an entry to this year&#x27;s Metro Manila Film Festival. While the patriarch, Benedicto “Benny” Librada (Jinggoy), is working abroad, he meets a woman named Mercy Dungca (Ariella). They get to know each other and have a relationship. His wife, Salve Librada (Sylvia) later learns about it and calls it quits with her husband. After 10 years, she and her children are surprised one night to see her husband in front of their house, and is very sick.Speaking with <a href="https://www.philstar.com/entertainment/2020/01/30/1988761/adolf-tackles-family-reconciliation-coming-home">Philstar</a>, Director Adolf said that Coming Home is a story of reconciliation.“How will the family accept it (the father’s coming home)? How will the kids accept it?” the filmmaker said.&quot;I think the family drama is a very powerful material to show the experiences of the Filipino family. Maganda pa ring platform ang family drama kasi it’s for all ages, you have the first layer, which is the couple. Then, you have the younger layer.
