PUSH X LIFESTYLE: Anne Curtis details first photo shoot post-maternity

For her nearly 23 years in the biz, Anne Curtis-Smith-Heussaff has always felt like a natural in front of the camera. Our shoot with the actress for an episode of Spaces We Love last year showcased this, as she mastered the art of posing (all the while socializing) to quickly wrap things up.Mrs. Erwan Heussaff&#x27;s first photo shoot four months after giving birth to baby Dahlia, however, was quite different. She exclusively tells ABS-CBN Lifestyle how she had to wear different hats just to pull it off—from the conceptualization and coordination down to the production.“It was a fun first time experience for me,” she says, “I’ve never had to produce a shoot and at the same, sit in as a model! But it was a lot of fun as I got to make new friends in the fashion industry here in Melbourne, Australia.”For the shoot, Anne commissioned Australian photographer Tracey Lee Hayes, and Telleish Hair Studio and Shella Ruby Martin, respectively, for her hair and makeup. She staged the shoot to introduce the latest collection of her local makeup brand featuring makeup products made for everyone, “regardless of age, gender, and labels.”Anne, the celebrity, is still on maternity leave, relieved from her It&#x27;s Showtime duties for now as the country still finds itself beset with a pandemic. But for her entrepreneurial side, she seems to be on her toes. She, for one, tries to make it a point to help out and reach out—like accomplishing the DIY photo shoot she just did.“Since I love my partners Jacqe (Gutierrez) and Steph (Abellada), and, of course, blk, a lot, I gave in,” she said. She detailed the shoot lasting for four hours, with her sending photos and videos to her team real-time—“It really didn’t feel like work at all and I wasn’t away from my daughter for too long!”Anne does miss being on screen; call it perfectly timed or whatever, but she definitely deserves this break.
