A few hours after “Bubble Gang” star, Michael V. (whose real name is Beethoven Bunagan) made the announcement on his YouTube vlog uploaded on Monday, July 20 that he had tested positive for the COVID-19 virus, and the talented comedian shared that there are already fake news articles online declaring that he had already passed away.

The 50-year-old actor and singer shared a screenshot of one of the fake news headlines in his Instagram account on the evening of July 20. Michael said that he was surprised by the article and reminded his followers of the dangers of spreading fake and harmful news to the public. Michael shared his experience of being a COVID-19 patient currently in isolation from his family at home in an effort to also spread awareness on the disease affecting the entire world this year.
