Alessandra de Rossi confessed that she was not really keen on portraying the role of Valentina in the television adaptation of Darna in 2005. However, it paved the way for her to buy her own house and that's why she doesn't regret doing it.

In an interview with Monster RX 93.1, she admitted, “Everyone knows naman na ayaw ko gawin 'yung Valentina from the beginning. Pero kasi when you look back, lalo na nitong pandemic, because of Valentina, nagtuloy-tuloy 'yung shows ko sa GMA although same role naman over and over, palit lang ng hair. It’s the same role na masama ugali, pumapatay, inggitera or whatever."

Kung hindi lang din ako dedicated diyan, matutulog na lang ako sa house,” she stated.
