LIST: MYX Awards 2020 winners

The COVID-19 pandemic did not stop the number one music channel in the Philippines — MYX — from honoring the biggest hitmakers in the local and international music scene as it successfully held a virtual celebration for its fifteenth year.

The MYX Awards 2020 — packed with amazing performances from artists both locally and abroad — brought together the likes of Ava Max, Anne-Marie, Alexander 23, Honne, Powfu, Ben&Ben, Darren Espanto, Inigo Pascual, KZ, and Julie Anne San Jose, among others.

Aside from the fun-filled performances, the show also featured special appearances from Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray, Maine Mendoza, Mimiyuuuh, LANY frontman Paul Klein, and Carly Rae Jepsen — showing up as presenters on the show.

Having snagged multiple trending spots on Twitter last Saturday night, July 25, the MYX Awards 2020 instantly became one of the most-talked-about topics as fans showered artists with congratulatory messages on the social media platform.

Meanwhile, five-piece group SB19 — composed of Sejun, Josh, Stell, Ken, and Justin — won big at the first-ever virtual celebration of the annual awards show.

Taking home three major awards namely "New Artist of the Year," “Song of the Year for “Go Up," and “Artist of the Year,” the group’s leader — Sejun — humbly thanked those who supported them and offered the awards to their legion of fans collectively known as A’TIN.
