WATCH: Paolo Contis’ ‘Through Night and Day’ brings LJ Reyes into tears

<p>LJ Reyes couldn’t help but turn emotional while watching some of the most heartbreaking scenes from the film <em>Through Night and Day</em> starring her boyfriend Paolo Contis. </p><div><a href="http://push.abs-cbn.com/2020/7/14/fresh-scoops/alessandra-de-rossi-paolo-contis-thank-viewers-as-230074"><u><strong>Alessandra de Rossi, Paolo Contis thank viewers as ‘Through Night and Day’ trends on Netflix</strong></u></a></div><p>For his latest vlog, Paolo decided to do a reaction video of his 2018 film which recently topped the charts on Netflix Philippines.</p><p>“Medyo special ‘tong episode natin today kasi ito ay episode bilang pasasalamat ko sa mga nanood ng mga pelikula ko sa Netflix — ‘yung <em>Pangarap Kong Holdap</em> at <em>Through Night and Day</em>,” Paolo said. He added: “So itong episode na ‘to ay para sa inyo.”</p><p>While LJ managed to contain her emotions midway into the film, the actress eventually broke down in tears.</p><p>Although it seems she has already seen the film, LJ admitted at one point that she felt as if the film hits differently watching it while on lockdown.</p><p>Since LJ could no longer stop sobbing, Paolo decided to stop streaming the movie twelve minutes to the end of the film.</p><div><a href="https://push.abs-cbn.com/2020/7/12/fresh-scoops/walang-wala-ako-nun-alessandra-de-rossi-recalls-230040"><u><strong>‘Walang-wala ako nun’: Alessandra De Rossi recalls praying for role in Netflix hit ‘Through Night and Day’</strong></u></a></div><p>“Talagang hindi na namin matapos ang last twelve minutes ng movie,” he said. Then again, both films became two of the most-watched films on Netflix for several weeks.</p>
