After losing his job as a pilot because of the pandemic, Steve Dailisan has found a new career in the airline industry, this time as part of the corporate communications team of a local airline.

Steve admitted, "A few months ago, I thought it was the end of my much loved aviation career. Tears were shed and so the vision turned blurry."

Despite the set back, the former news reporter sought new opportunities and found a new role in a local airline.

"In my earlier post of goodbye, I mentioned, I started farming out my resume even before the inevitable happened. I thought of going back to broadcast journalism, government service and academe. And then, an opportunity came to practice my corporate communication skills," he stated.

He added, "I admit, I was anxious and exhausted but I never entertained the thought of giving up. This is what we need right now to stay afloat. FIGHT and WIN, ONE DAY at a TIME. True enough, we are never denied, just redirected by God to a better path."

Steve has some words of encouragement for those who lost their dream jobs too because of the global health crisis.

"For everyone who lost their dream job, their nurtured businesses, their family member or anything precious during this difficult time, just hang in there! You will definitely find your way back! PRAY and BELIEVE that a new opportunity awaits," he remarked.
