Kim Chiu grateful to have worked with ‘Love Thy Woman’ co-star Christopher de Leon

Kim Chiu took to social media to express her gratitude to Christopher de Leon, who played her father in the ABS-CBN afternoon series Love Thy Woman.

In her post on Instagram on Tuesday, August 4, the actress said she is grateful to have had the opportunity to work with the veteran actor, whose character, Filipino-Chinese businessman Adam Wong, was recently killed off on the show.

Papa Adam!🖤. Thankful for the opportunity to have worked with you tito @sgt.pepper8 star struck at the beginning actually till the end. Things went crazy in the middle due to him affected by covid19. We all got worried. Praise God you survived and passed that stage. Thank you tito bo for teaching all of us that no matter how far, how high you have become as an actor, working with you made me learn so many things. Professionalism at its finest! The same level of acting no matter you are seen on cam or off cam, Support thy co-actor, and most especially your faith in God. Nakakabilib po!❤️ Thank you, Tito bo. Lucky to have worked with you. "Thankful for the opportunity to have worked with you," wrote Kim.

"Star struck at the beginning actually [until] the end. Things went crazy in the middle due to him [being] affected by COVID-19. We all got worried. Praise God you survived and passed that stage," she added.

Kim went on to thank Christopher for his professionalism, saying that working with him has taught her many things as an actress.

"Thank you, Tito Bo, for teaching all of us that no matter how far, how high you have become as an actor, working with you made me learn so many things. Professionalism at its finest! The same level of acting no matter you are seen on cam or off cam. Support thy co-actor, and most especially your faith in God. Nakakabilib po," she said.

She also said that she looks forward to working with Christopher again in future projects.

"Thank you, Tito Bo. Lucky to have worked with you. I hope to work with you again in this lifetime! Stay safe and healthy tito," she said.

Love Thy Woman, about the rivalry between two sides of a Filipino-Chinese family, airs weekdays, 2:30 p.m., on the Kapamilya Channel.
