As fans await the resumption of production for the much-anticipated movie-turned-TV series Darna, actress Jane de Leon got ready to join the long-running primetime series FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano this month.

In an interview with TV Patrol last January 21, the 22-year-old actress revealed that she will be playing the role of a black ops sniper member along with other new cast members Paolo Paraiso, Geoff Eigenmann, Vance Larena, Marc McMahon, and AJ Raval.

”Magaling ako na sniper. Yun ang eksperto ko sa role na ito at ako’y kasintahan ni Geoff Eigenmann. Abangan niyo kung ako ba yung magiging kalaban or magiging kakampi ni Cardo Dalisay,” she shared.

As for her working experience with Ang Probinsyano star Coco Martin, Jane admits she enjoyed working with him on the show. “Napakabait niyang tao at napaka-gentleman niya and hindi mo mararamdaman na anything na mabigat sa aura niya. Nakikita ko rin na napaka professional niya na aktor,” she said.
