Andrea Brillantes contracts COVID-19, reveals battle with insomnia and anxiety

<p>Andrea Brillantes revealed that she tested positive for COVID-19.</p><p>The actress shared that she is asymptomatic and currently in isolation for her quarantine.</p><p>Though she is not feeling the physical symptoms of COVID-19, Andrea said that what has been challenging has been its impact on her mental health.</p><p>&quot;Ang pinakamahirap po kasi para sa akin, I have insomnia and anxiety. Sa araw sobrang kaya ko naman lahat. Ginawa ko lang, I just read books. Huwag po sana kayo matawa pero lapitin po kasi ako ng multo,&quot; she added.</p><p>Asked how she is dealing with her insomnia, Andrea relayed, “Insomnia I believe nagsimula siya kasi maaga po ako nagtrabago so maaga po na-ano &#x27;yung body clock ko and kasi lagi po akong binabangungot. Lagi akong nagkaka-sleep paralysis. So nagkaroon ako ng fear na matulog kasi may mga tao na nagkaka-heart attack sa pagtulog nila. Hindi na sila nagigising. For the first time sa 18 years ko po ito lang talaga na nagkaroon ako ng quiet time alone for myself. Kahit takot ako meron pa rin akong kaunting nakikita na happiness and peace,&quot; she relayed.  </p>
