Over a month after she gave birth, actress Sam Pinto finally gave her social media followers a glimpse of her baby daughter.

On Instagram on Monday, October 4, the former Pinoy Big Brother housemate and her husband, professional basketball player Anthony Semerad, shared their first family photo with newborn Mia Aya.

"My little family," Sam captioned her post.

Anthony, who just got out of the PBA bubble, said for his part: "Ready to start this journey with you baby! Let the awesome parenting begin."

Fans and fellow celebrities could not help but gush over their newborn daughter.

"She's sooo pretty Sam!" said former Miss World Philippines Katarina Rodriguez, who is now pregnant with her first child.

Actress Andrea Torres agreed, saying, "Sooo pretty!" followed by a heart-eyed emoji.

"Aw yay! Can't wait to smother you with kisses little Mia Aya! Tata loves you!" wrote Gwen Zamora, who is the wife of Anthony's twin brother, David.

Meanwhile, actress-host Ruffa Gutierrez loved the "sweet" family photos, while comedienne Rufa Mae Quinto and host Marc Nelson both congratulated couple on becoming first-time parents.

Sam and Anthony tied the knot in a civil ceremony at Conrad Manila in Pasay in March.

Months later, in May, the couple revealed that they were expecting their first baby. They then welcomed their daughter on September 1, 2021.

In a vlog they released earlier, the two explained the meaning behind their daughter's name.

"Because we really love the ocean," they said. "Mia is queen of the ocean, so it's the perfect name. And Aya, it's a very lucky name. Siyempre we want her to be lucky."

Previously, Sam revealed that she and Anthony are planning to have a "semi-bigger wedding" at the end of the year.

"We’ll have a semi bigger wedding end of this year with our loved ones present," she wrote in her post. "Claiming this is our year! Only peace, happiness, blessings and positive vibes! Everything that is happening is supposed to happen."

The couple got engaged in August 2019, during a vacation in Australia. They had been dating for more than two years at the time.
