Tungkol sa sexual exploration and discovery of a common kasambahay ang tema ng kanyang unang pelikula sa Viva Films na ang title ay Eva. Siguro what sets apart from the other erotic films is it’s really an apologetically sexual because that is the theme of the movie. It’s all about the sexual exploration and discovery of Eva. It’s also about sexual politics in a way, na parang just like in life, we tend to have preferences when it comes to power and position and that’s what the film talks about.”Ayon pa sa direktor, wala siyang nakikitang masama na gawing tema ang sex sa kanyang mga pelikula.“It’s about time na dapat pag-usapan ang sex na feeling ko rin naman sa ngayon na mas nagiging open na ang mga Filipinos about sexual content on streaming platforms. Mas p’wede siyang pag-usapan na hindi kagaya before na parang medyo taboo ang dating sa kanila.“So yon nga, I think, there’s no shame in talking about it because, ang feeling ko, kami yung nangahas to open up the topic for everyone else. I think it’s about time that we educate the audience and give them something more intelligent, even though it’s about sex, it’s not just all about sex. It’s all about the psychology of Eva. Ang whole objective namin with releasing teasers and trailers is for them to get watch the film. At saka alam ko naman ang capabilities niya dahil napanood ko na yung mga pelikula niya like 12 (with Alessandra de Rossi). So, alam ko na talaga yung capabilities.“So, with this one naman I’m just so happy na he trusted me kasi nga I think first time niyang medyo nag-all out pag dating sa sexy scenes. Hahaha! Ako yung nagbinyag yata sa kanya,” sabay tawa niya.“Si Angelica, ngayon ko lang din nakatrabaho and very, very smooth-sailing, madali siyang kumuha ng instruction and ’yun nga, she trusted me with all the scenes kasi nga lahat ng anim na cast na nandito, in some way or another, may ginawa silang medyo sensitive scenes.“Same with Quinn who is actually kakaiba ’yung role niya because she’s a transman supposedly here in the film. Nagustuhan ko rin ’yung atake niya doon sa role at nakikinig din talaga siyang mabuti. So, I’d like to really work with her again.“Si Marco kasi yung roles niya before sa mga ibang pelikula ay palaging maangas, dito naman iniba namin ang character niya. Sinabi ko kasi sa kanilang lahat na what I love doing kasi when I work with my actors in a project is to always make them create a character that they’ve never done before ’cause ganu’n din ang ginawa ko sa dati kong films like kay Piolo (Pascual), kay Rhian (Ramos), kay Jasmin (Curtis Smith), JC (De Vera). And natuwa ako kasi ibang-iba naman siya rito sa movie as compared to her other appearances sa Taya and saka sa Mahjong Nights.“So, lahat sila may potential kasi mga medyo baguhan most of them. And I really love to work with all of them in the future projects as well,” pagmamalaki niya sa buong cast.
