<p>A short haired Darna?</p><p>Jane de Leon, who is set to topbill the upcoming <em>Mars Ravelo&#x27;s Darna: The TV Series</em> of ABS-CBN, surprised her fans on Monday, November 29, with photos of herself sporting a short hairstyle.</p><p>The actress, who recently turned 23, shared a glimpse of her new look in her most recent update on Instagram.</p><p>&quot;Cutting my hair for a role? Darna, after Liza Soberano withdrew from the project because of a finger injury.</p><p>Helmed by Chito S. Roño, <em>Darna: The TV Series</em> was originally planned as a movie before it was announced as a TV series in December 2020. </p><p>&quot;May masaya po kaming ibabalita sa inyong lahat. A target release date for the series has yet to be announced as of this writing.</p>
