Igi Boy Flores talks about mentoring younger actors this year: ‘Siyempre sobrang fulfilling’

<p>After starting out in showbiz as a child actor through the kiddie sketch comedy program Goin’ Bulilit, Igi Boy Flores said he does not mind being cast as one of the older members in the cast now, like his role in the Metro Manila Film Festival entry Love At First Stream where he is co-stars with Daniela Stranner, Anthony Jennings, Kaori Oinuma, and Jeremiah Lisbo.</p><p>“Siyempre sobrang fulfilling nun. Feeling ko kasi for the past few recent series na mga nagawa ko siyempre ang mga nakasama ko ay mga love teams eh sa generation namin like Kathniel, Lizquen, and Joshlia.  So nakakatuwa lang na ngayon pati yung mga new generation ng love teams nakakasama na rin ako pero not as a friend or best friend but as a kuya na. Super exciting. Abangan niyo na lang yung mga kalokohan na gagawin ko dun at makita yung katamaran ko sa bahay. Yung hindi mautusan sa bahay, ayaw magpa-abala, ganun (laughs). Isa lang ang hindi ko ginagawa dun, ang magbalat ng bawang. Yun lang. Pag nakikita kong hirap na hirap na si Daniela sa mga ring lights niya and everything, hindi ako gagalaw hangga’t hindi siya humihingi ng tulong sa akin. Kahit ganun ako as a kuya, when it matters, kapag kailangan ng emotional support ng isang kuya talaga, binibigay ko naman. Nandun ako to guide her sa lahat. May ambag naman. Pero meron kasi akong mga ideas, pero hindi naman kasi vlog yung ginawa ko sa channel ko, mockumentaries ang ginagawa ko and yun naman yung creative side ko. Pero kapag sa hobbies talaga and sa games, gaming streaming talaga yung ginagawa ko and super happy ako dun kasi you have fun doing what you want and kumbaga nakakakuha ka din ng gifts and yung kasama din sa niche ko, yung sa community ko, and nagkikita kita kami. Nalalaman yung mga kapareho ng mga trip ko. Nung first day namin magkasama ni Anthony nag-click agad kami kasi alam ko na same kami ng wavelength, ng brainwaves kasi pareho kaming gamer.
