Unlike his other batchmates in showbiz who started their own vlogs on YouTube more than a year ago, Paul Salas only got convinced this year to create his own content. The 23-year-old actor and former child star admitted he was encouraged to make his own YouTube channel by popular vlogger and influencer Jelai Andres, who is also currently being linked to him.

So ako naman ang dami kong gawain ko sa buhay, nandiyan yung family ko and friends so sabi ko why not baka magustuhan nila,” he told PUSH during Cathy Valencia’s birthday and thanksgiving party event.

“During the first two months ang saya kasi parang relaxed pero after ilang months medyo naramdaman ko na medyo nagbabago yung buong bansa, hindi lang yung Pilipinas pero yung buong mundo. So I think kailangan ko rin mag-adjust. So like sa social media ko kasi hindi ako active. So ngayong New Year ang resolution ko magiging masipag na ako sa social media para masubaybayan pa rin nila ako. Sa vlog ko makikita nila ngayon halos everyday life ko without work.

With the government finally lifting ECQ in the country, Paul was happy to finally be able to meet up and hang out with his friends, some of them even coming from his former network.

Ngayon lang ulit nagsama-sama kasi ngayon lang puwede,” he added.

During his exclusive interview with PUSH, Paul admitted the pandemic was especially hard on his personal life because it led to the breakup of his long-distance relationship with his former girlfriend Taki Saito who has been based in Japan since last year.

So ayun. Pero good breakup naman kami. After nun okay pa rin naman. Pa-three years na kami pero yung mga one year and a half yun na yung long-distance relationship namin.

In one of his latest vlogs, Paul revealed a side of himself when he is in a relationship.
