As one of the most iconic rock bands in the country, Aegis returns to performing for a global audience again this month as one of the headliners in special virtual event called MG Live!’s Salubong: The Christmas Concert on December 10 and 11. The veteran band, who have been performing for more than 25 years now, said that aside from the virtual concert, they look forward to celebrating the holiday season together despite living in different parts of the region. The close-knit band is composed of seven members, three of which are siblings.

Because they live far apart from one another, they admitted it was difficult to practice together during a pandemic. But starting next year, the band is looking forward to resuming their tour abroad and working on new songs for their avid fans.

“Meron kaming naka-schedule, sana last year pa ‘to. The other year pa nga dapat. Yung aming concert tour sa Canada and US soon. And ngayon we’re working on mga kanta pa ulit bubuohin namin for us to bring joy to the people here and abroad.
