"A new beginning."

This was how GOT7 member Mark Tuan described his new journey as he returned to the United States.

Mark has moved back to his home in Los Angeles, California after not renewing his contract with JYP Entertainment.

The singer documented in his latest YouTube vlog his trip from South Korea to the US.

"Here are some behind the scenes footage of me moving back to LA from Korea. I hope to release more content for you guys in the future! Hope this gives everyone a little glimpse of my life," he said.

In the vlog, Mark shared clips of himself saying goodbye to his friends including fellow members Jackson Wang and BamBam.

Mark was happily welcomed by his family upon his return to California.

On January 11, JYP Entertainment announced that GOT7 was leaving the agency.

"JYP has held thorough discussions with the GOT7 members ahead of the expiration of their exclusive contract on January 19. As a result, both sides have agreed not to renew the contract while hoping for a fresh future," JYP said in a statement as reported by Naver and translated by Soompi.

The agency extended its gratitude to the group and wished the members a great future ahead.

"We genuinely thank GOT7 for being part of the growth of K-pop and JYP, as well as I GOT7 and all fans who have been a source of motivation to GOT7’s activities with their endless support since their debut."

"Our official relationship ends here, but JYP will sincerely cheer on the new future that the GOT7 members will advance into," the agency added.
