Alex Gonzaga shares why she won’t miss husband Mikee Morada during the lock-in shoot for her new movie

<p>As she starts working on a new movie project this month, Alex Gonzaga revealed why she won’t miss being away from her husband Lipa City councilor Mikee Morada even though being in a lock-in bubble will have her away from their home for a few weeks.</p><p>“I love this lock-in taping because dahil mahal ako ng aking brother-in-law (Paul Soriano), ang aming lock-in taping sa Lipa, Batangas. Kaya walang kawala si Morada (laughs). So dun kami sa Lipa so Mikee actually helped us. Makikita ko talaga asawa ko kahit papaano kasi nasa Lipa din ako. Ever since before naman, Mikee is very supportive sa lahat ng aking career projects. Like yung movie namin with my sister, actually nag-lock-in kami niyan for two weeks, two and half weeks sa Nueva Ecija. He was supportive naman. Actually na-realize ko hindi pa kami kasal nun kaya wala rin siyang magagawa (laughs),” she said.</p><div><a href="https://push.abs-cbn.com/2021/1/22/videos/alex-gonzaga-and-mikee-morada-push-evolution-191227"><strong><u>WATCH: Alex Gonzaga and Mikee Morada | Push Evolution</u></strong></a></div><p>During the Shopee 5.5 Brands Festival Event, Alex shared how things are going with the home she and her husband are currently working hard for.</p><p>“Ang style namin is modern Mediterranean so we already have an architect, the interior designer, the contractor which is mommy Pinty, so we’re just waiting kasi siyempre nagka-pandemic so medyo natagalan talaga yung mga approval. We’re just waiting for the approval of the village and after sana permit. So sa munisipyo yung next. But she always makes sure to deposit her paycheck in the bank before spending it.</p><p>“Deposit ko muna. Kasi mas gusto ko nakikita na may pumapasok kesa may lumalabas. So deposit muna ako. Pag na-deposit ko na, tsaka ka na mag-withdraw. At least may pumasok. Hindi ko alam kung bakit ako ganun. Yan ang aking pag-uugali. Pero with my shopping parang hindi naman din naiba. Lagi lang siyang for two and meron lang taga send sa akin ng mga link sa mga practical na bagay like mga needed like masks, face shield tapos tapos pinakita niya sa akin yung mga anti-bac na stuff. Yung portable sauna, sobrang budol siya sa akin. Nagpapagawa kasi kami ngayon ng bahay, gusto ko na yung shower namin ay may steamer. Sabi niya, ‘Huwag ka ng bumili nun. Magpapaano ka pa ng ganun. Ito na lang ang bilhin mo. Ibili kita ng sampu. (laughs). Para daw bawat kanto ng bahay may ganun. Kasi ang ganda talaga niya lalo na you don’t have time to sweat or to exercise,” she added.</p>
