Bianca Gonzalez remarked that she is extremely grateful after she finally got her first jab of the COVID-19 vaccine as part of the A4 priority group or the economic frontliners.

"'Happy Independence Day' takes a whole new meaning for me today. As soon as I found out that our industry falls under the A4 category, I tried my luck and signed up online!! And I was so happy to get my slot today in the Ateneo de Manila vaccination site. What an emotional moment," she shared on her Instagram.

As she received her first dose, Bianca dubbed it as "the light at the end of the tunnel and our hope of getting through this."

Bianca relayed that the vaccination procedure on site was smooth and organized.

"I arrived at 8AM and the line was organized, the on ground staff were very helpful, and everything was orderly. The process was explained and we signed our consent forms. We got Sinovac, and for me and also having asked doctor friends, all the vaccines are good and the best vaccine is the one available," she highlighted.

"In the venue, there were around 4 to 5 stations to get the shot, so the line moved pretty fast. When my turn came for the jab, it was quick and painless," she added.

The television host relayed that she got emotional when she looked at her vaccination card.

"The past months, I would see those around me na Senior or A3 getting their doses, and I could not help but feel, 'Sana ako din.' Our ates at home got theirs too because they are A3 (with co-morbidities). And ito na! Ito naaaa. Nakakaiyak. Thank you Lord," she stated.

Bianca also extended her gratitude to the medical frontliners who are doing the vaccination drives.
