Apart from celebrating his 18th birthday on Father’s day, actor and singer Kyle Echarri said he is also excited for the Kyle Digital Birthday Fan Con which can be streamed live through his Kumu channel the same day. The talented performer revealed through his recent presscon for his new album New Views that he is hoping that the rest of the Gold Squad can also make it to the event.

“I believe so. I’m hoping to put that together. Everyone that’s really close to my heart. Not just the album but the concert is a part of Kyle so I’m trying to be as generic as I can show the people that are closest to me in the industry,” he said.

Even though fans of his love team KyCine with Francine Diaz are hoping to see them do a duet together on his birthday, Kyle revealed why it probably won’t happen anytime soon.

“I’ll see kasi alam ko ayaw naman talaga ni Francine kumanta. She doesn’t want to sing as much as I do. In this concert, sana mabuo ko yung buong Gold Squad. Kasi isang malaking karangalan sila ng career ko at yung buhay ko. I’m very happy that I’m part of this Gold Squad and sana makasama sila sa concert ko. Pero as much as I can, ipapasama ko talaga yung tatlo. I really hope that they can join me this Sunday,” he said.

If ever Gold Squad members and his Huwag Kang Mangamba co-stars Andrea Brillantes, Seth Fedelin, and Francine Diaz can join him in his online concert, Kyle said it won’t be in person.

“Dahil nga sa protocols, I think some of them have ibang work. So I don’t know if I’m going to be able to have them there physically. Pero kahit maka-Zoom lang or hopefully talaga makasama sila physically. Hopefully (laughs),” he adds.

The New Views singer, who first entered showbiz as a singer on The Voice Kids, also said he has no birthday wish yet for this year.

“Wala naman. I don’t know but maybe siguro travel on my own. Siyempre may COVID pa rin ngayon, pandemya pa rin ngayon. Pero ang pinakagusto ko talaga is travel the world with my friends. Mahal ko yung pamilya ko. Lagi ko naman sila gustong makasama pero it’s different when you’re at that age and you can venture into different kind so things on your own. The concert is on my 18th birthday mismo so one, I’m legal. Two, I’m more mature so that’s all I can give you as a hint. I’m very excited because I’m going to be able to show you who the real Kyle is,” he said.
