Meet the two new love teams in ‘Love at First Stream’

<p>In a first time collaboration with Kumu, Star Cinema announced their latest project with director Cathy Garcia-Molina called <em>Love at First Stream.</em> The blockbuster director revealed that this is the first time she is working on a film where all four lead actors are virtual newcomers in the industry.</p><p>“The story was made first. It was one random question from one of the bosses <em>ng </em>Kumu.<em> Nag-</em>create <em>ng kuwento </em>and out of that <em>hinananapan kung sino ang bagay</em> for the roles. <em>Nakailang</em> selection din <em>ng </em>pairs. it wasn’t that easy <em>kasi</em> specially <em>dahil na</em>-workshop <em>ko na yung mga bata</em>. So <em>nakita ko yung mga kapasidad nila</em> and I knew all of them were capable. <em>Mas mahirap mamili sa ganun eh. Maraming marunong. Maraming puwede.</em> So <em>mas madami yung naging pamantayan kung bakit napili yung apat</em>. href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/makeitwithyou" target="_blank"><em><u><strong>Make It With You</strong></u></em></a>. In Love at First Stream, Daniela plays a street smart girl named V who ends up meeting a low-key, hardworking guy named Christopher (played by Anthony) through the streaming platform Kumu.</p><p>“<em>Sobrang halaga nito sa akin kasi ito yung</em> first big project <em>ko. Tapos inaabangan talaga ito ng pamilya ko, ng mga kamag-anak ko. </em>Excited <em>na</em> excited<em> na sila. Siyempre nagpapasalamat ako kay Inang</em> (Olivia Lamasan),<em> sa tiwala nila sa akin. Yung </em>love team <em>namin sinasabi kasi ng mga tao para kaming</em> couple <em>talaga pero totoo</em> solid<em> ang</em> friendship <em>namin ni </em>Anthony. And <em>sobrang nakakatuwa kasi ang tagal naming hinintay ni</em> Anthony <em>ito </em>and<em> si direk </em>Cathy <em>pa yung mag-di-</em>direct <em>sa amin. </em>So super <em>saya. Nakaka-</em>pressure <em>nga lang. Kaori plays a sweet and kind girl named Megumi who is running for Magna Cum Laude while Rhys plays a smart and popular guy named Gino who does everything to make his family proud.</p><p>“<em>Nagkausap ni</em> Rhys<em> na magtutulungan kami lagi. Pagdating sa</em> set<em> pag may kailangan ang isa magtutulungan kami. Napag-usapan naman namin yun. Siya dahil sa Tagalog niya</em> and <em>sabi ko tutulungan ko naman siya lagi.</em> Unexpected <em>din kasi yung</em> love team. <em>Nung PBB</em> days<em> naman hindi ko naman nakikitang ganun pero paglabas</em> (laughs),” Kaori said.</p><p>Star Cinema wlll release more updates about additional cast announcements and release date of <em>Love at First Stream</em> at a later date. </p>
