WATCH: BTS marks TV debut performance of ‘Permission To Dance’ on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’

K-Pop group BTS made the debut performance of their latest song “Permission To Dance” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

The performance of the song — which the boys co-wrote with Ed Sheeran — showed the boys dancing at an indoor venue filled with purple balloons.

Apart from “Permission To Dance,” BTS also performed their chart-topping hit “Butter” which has remained at number one on the Billboard Top 100 over the past seven weeks.

BTS also had an interview on Jimmy Fallon where they talked about touring and working with Ed Sheeran, among others.

The group’s leader, RM, revealed they have not met the British singer-songwriter yet despite having had the chance to work with him twice.

"PTD is a song that will get everybody's heart pumping and dance again. This is actually a gift of Ed Sheeran of course one of our friends... Respect, big love to Ed,” RM said.

He added: “We also prepared something called Permission to Dance challenge with YouTube shorts so please stay tuned for more. PTD let's go... We can't believe that we haven't met him yet. This is the second project with him but we never met him yet."

The group also addressed rumors about the name of their fanbase, particularly if it was really supposed to be “Bell.”

“Thank God [it wasn’t chosen]. ARMY is so much better,” RM said.

BTS has had four number one songs on the Billboard Hot 100 in the past year alone.
