After exiting Pinoy Big Brother Otso more than two years ago, Kiara Takahashi has been known as one half of the love team known as “KiaNo” along with her fellow housemate Gino Roque. This year, Kiara gets ready to embark on a new journey after being officially welcomed into the Star Magic family last month.

This year, Kiara gets ready to embark on a new journey after being officially welcomed into the Star Magic family last month.
“I look at it as a new chapter, a new beginning. Parang another blessing na naman para sa amin to be part of Star Magic so new beginning talaga and I can’t wait and so excited kung ano yung masusulat namin sa librong ito na bagong nagbukas. Excited lang talaga ako na makatrabaho ng ibang artists. To grow more as an artist din individually,” she shared during the Star Magic Black Pen Day media con.

Now that she is not in a love team anymore, Kiara said it opens up the opportunity for her to be able to work with more actors and actresses in the Star Magic family.

“Unang una blessed and it is a privilege kasi yun talaga. Naaalala ko dati before PBB pa lang talagang umuwi ako from Japan to the Philippines makikipagsapalaran ako sabi ko I’ll try out showbiz. Tapos naalala ko in-enroll ko yung sarili ko sa Star Magic workshop. Talagang nagbayad ako, pumila ako. Kasi gusto ko matuto mag-acting and singing. Ngayon na nandito na ako at part ng Star Magic family, grabe blessed talaga,” she said.

In order to handle pressure in the industry, Kiara gave credit to her PBB batchmate Lou Yanong for the gift of friendship even after the show ended.

“Actually pagkalabas namin nung PBB nahirapan talaga kami sa adjustment. Lalo na kami ni Lou. Super thankful ako na nandiyan si Lou kasi nag-o-open up kami sa isa’t isa tapos feeling ko talagang meron akong friend na naintindihan niya ako kasi pareho kami ng pinaggalingan at pareho kami ng napagdadaanan dito sa industry, Actually parang step by step namin siyang na-a-adjust sa mga experience namin. Kinailangan talaga namin matutunan kung paano namin iha-handle yung pressure,” she said.

After the pandemic, Kiara hopes she and Lou can be given a project that allows them to work together in her hometown in La Union. “Gusto namin sa may bandang dagat. Kasi napakadami nating isla at ang dami ko pang hindi napupuntahan. Taga La Union ako pero dun pa alng ako nakakapunta so somewhere kung san may dagat masaya na kami doon at mag-e-enjoy kami magtrabaho.. Nakapunta na kami sa La Union so if ever makapag-work kami dun masaya,” she added.
After the pandemic, Kiara hopes she and Lou can be given a project that allows them to work together in her hometown in La Union. “Gusto namin sa may bandang dagat. Kasi napakadami nating isla at ang dami ko pang hindi napupuntahan. Taga La Union ako pero dun pa alng ako nakakapunta so somewhere kung san may dagat masaya na kami doon at mag-e-enjoy kami magtrabaho.. Nakapunta na kami sa La Union so if ever makapag-work kami dun masaya,” she added.
