As part of the cast of the primetime drama series Init Sa Magdamag, actor Gab Lagman said he has already learned a lot since his last role since his first soap opera project in 2018.

“I think Init Sa Magdamag made a lot of difference for me. Especially coming from Halik and sobrang layo kasi ng character na ito sa akin and sa character ng Halik. They really wanted me to look na mahirap na breadwinner so really accepted the challenge and thankful ako na si Alexa (Ilacad) yung naka-work ko kasi she really helped me a lot. Meron akong mga scenes na nagawa na hindi ko alam na kaya ko palang gawin. So I’m really thankful and grateful for being given this opportunity. Kasi ang dami talagang pinagdaanan with Kiko. Malungkot kasi yung mga scenes ni Kiko pag siya lang mag-isa pag hindi niya kasama si Hannah. I was happy and grateful na yun yung natutunan ko sa Init Sa Magdamag,” he said.

With his current role as Kiko, the onscreen partner of Alexa Ilacad and one half of the secondary love team in the series, the 25-year-old actor also applied some life lessons.

“Siguro natutunan ko yung maging patient with myself. Kasi I’m really hard on myself pag hindi ko nagagawa yung scene na ganun kabilis. So for me as long as I trust my co-actors and my directors na makikita anamn pala sa pagka-edit kung gaano nila mapapaganda yung scene, kasi for me sometimes may nakukulangan or ito ba yung gustong ilabas? So I just have to be more patient with myself and trust in God. Yun siguro yung na-learn ko sa sarili ko doing this show,” he shared.

With his attractive physique, Gab said he would be open to offers to do more sexier roles onscreen in the future if it will get him more recognition as an actor.

“As long as maganda yung script and okay yung makaka-work ko, okay si direk, why not? Maybe it’s time. Whatever is the opportunity given to me, basta maganda yung script and maganda yung mga ka-work ko, I’m willing naman and gusto ko rin mapansin ng mga tao yung acting ko hindi lang katawan ko,” he added.

Whatever is the opportunity given to me, basta maganda yung script and maganda yung mga ka-work ko, I’m willing naman and gusto ko rin mapansin ng mga tao yung acting ko hindi lang katawan ko,” he added.
