EXCLUSIVE: Dimples Romana shares how to be beautiful inside and out: ‘Be grateful always’

<p>2021 has been a busy year for Dimples Romana not just when it comes to acting but also with her endeavors off camera like opening her first overseas restaurant in Singapore last May. The 36-year-old Kapamilya artist also recently renewed her contract as brand ambassadress for Skin Magical. With her hectic schedule, Dimples shares how challenging it was to stay flawless.</p><p>“I remember being in one of my most favorite projects I have done in the past, <i>Kay Tagal Kitang Hinintay</i>. Puwede kang mag connect the dots sa mukha ko sa dami ng tuldok/pimples. I had a lot of tiny ones on my forehead Tapos sa ilong or pisngi naman I had cystic pimples. I remember feeling so conscious and I had terribly low self-esteem. Our body and face, these are just some of our tools apart from our acting craft and work ethics that matter most in our job as actresses. We are seen on camera kaya we are told that it is our responsibility to always look the part. I remember that over time I have managed to find the solutions to my skincare problems, sinunod ko lang kung anong mga hiyang sa akin and made sure to follow them no matter how tired I am when I come back from taping. I drink lots of water and that is a plus! Also I avoid touching my face with my hands talaga. Drink plenty of water all day. When your skin is acting up, try drinking water every hour. I promise you it really helps in making you feel more alive and beautiful. Choose your skin care products wisely. Don’t be afraid to try new things. I would’ve have known na hiyang ako with Skin Magical if I didn’t try. I made sure to listen to my skin’s needs and use the products that specifically address my skin problems. No matter bad your day may get, when you are always counting your blessings and always have a grateful heart, no fail nakakaganda tip yun! Never wish anyone ill no matter how unkind they may be towards you. Promise nakakaganda ang magandang pag-uugali at busilak na puso,” she added.</p>
