For the first time, Lovi Poe and Carlo Aquino are set to work opposite each other in a movie.

On Wednesday, July 7, the two actors were introduced as the lead stars of Easy Ferrer's newest film entitled Seasons.

"Loving a friend. It’s like walking on thin ice," the director—whose recent films include The Missing and Momshies Ang Soul Mo'y Sa Akin—wrote in the caption of his Instagram post, which gave a glimpse of Lovi and Carlo's first photo shoot for the movie.

Based on his post, Lovi will play the role of Charlie, while Carlo will be starring as Kurt in Seasons.

Meanwhile, producer Regal Entertainment also teased about the movie's plot on its official social media pages.

"Out of all the love you experienced in your life, how will you know that the one you have now, and not the ones who slipped away, is THE ONE?" Regal said.

Seasons is written by Dwein Baltazar, who is known for her award-winning movies Oda Sa Wala and Gusto Kita Will All My Hypothalamus.

In her last film, Lovi, a homegrown talent of GMA-7, also worked with a Kapamilya actor—Zanjoe Marudo. They starred in Connie Macatuno's romance film Malaya, which was released last year.

Carlo, likewise, was paired with a Kapuso actress in his last big screen project—Maine Mendoza. The two top billed the 2019 romcom Isa Pa With Feelings by Prime Cruz.

As of this writing, no further details about Seasons, including its official synopsis, release date and platform, have been announced.
