featured the wedding vow between the couple. </p><p>Yam began by talking about her long-distance relationship with Miguel which she described as both “unique” and “special.” </p><p>“Our love is as much as a choice as it is a feeling. Staying in love takes a commitment. Our love story is unique and special in many ways. Ours was a long-distance relationship from the very beginning tested by time and life’s uncertainties,” Yam shared. </p><p>Yam also noted that both she and Miguel made constant efforts to make their relationship work. </p><p>“We’ve faced a lot of twists and turns. But I’ve always believed that it wasn’t only fate that brought us together. It was our constant effort of making time for each other whether it be video calls, leaving voice messages, and extra-long text messages mostly from you. I said novel. Who would have thought we’d be here again on the same pier where we had our first date in New York, if you remember,” Yam stated. </p><p>Keeping a promise on being with Miguel, Yam said: “From this day forward, it won’t be just you alone or me alone, but us.” </p><p>Meanwhile, Miguel noted how the two of them have grown despite taking a “non-traditional path.” </p><p>“We’ve grown so much and built so much trust and faith in one another through our non-traditional path. But it’s these last few months together that have been the most magical. You and Tiny gave me so much life. I used to live often in just memories. But you’ve made me truly present.
